FLOCCI­NAUCINI­HILIPIL­IFICATION = an estimation of something as worthless.
This is the longest word in the first edition of the Oxford English Dictionary. Interestingly the most common letter in English, E, does not appear in this word at all, whilst I occurs a total of nine times. The word dates back to 1741. The 1992 Guinness Book of World Records calls flocci­nauci­nihili­pilification the longest real word in the Oxford English Dictionary, and refers to pneumono­ultra­micro­scopic­silico­volcano­koniosis as the longest made-up one.

So we “opened our doors” at this first thursdays artwalk.  Not Fully but much more of a reality than our open doors of last.  I don’t even know what time artwalk starts.

5:00 or 6:00?  I think our doors “opened” at 7:15ish.  Quite a few people came in and a few interesting conversations insued.  Kolibri became the host at about 8:00pm until 8:45 shifting the attention to the whole environment.  Christopher Overstreet followed musical/story insructions for his dance theater.  Joe Gray assisted in the execution of Kolibri’s design, which matched the scultpure.  It began with hurricanes coming out of his pockets and a badger on his chest.  By the end he was a courageous night, constantly awoken in the night by dragons.  Steve Vroom, of Vroomjournal.com said, “Kolibri was the highlight of the evening”.

Some documentation was had, but not by me, and not during the best part of the sculptural presentation.
